I had held various positions in my 36 year career when I decided to pursue travel nursing as a wind down to retirement. Travel nursing was something i had always wanted to try and with my family grown, I gave it a shot. I have absolutely zero regrets! Travel nursing with New Horizons Staffing has infused a new energy into my life and career. Wonderful to still be enthusiastic about getting up and going to work after 40 years! I have been to incredibly beautiful remote areas of Newfoundland, Labrador and Saskatchewan, have had a variety of interesting experiences nursing in these rural settings and have formed meaningful, life long friendships and relationships with like minded adventurous souls.

The team at New Horizons has been wonderful throughout my 4 years with them. Chase and his staff provide opportunity and an environment for their nurses to get the most of their travel experience. Communication with the team is always personal yet professional, prompt and helpful no matter the circumstance.
